creation of programs

I would like to know what it takes to create a program such as the type etrade , scotstrade or wall street themselves use . How does etrade etc. interact with programs that wall street has.
I have no knowledge of programs but I found this site and i find you interresting.
i would like to know if there are programs out there that one could purchase to set up a site such as etrade from your owne server? If someone with knowledge of this would reply I would greatly appreciate it.

This is for anyone who would be interested in putting their time up for an interest in sometning I have designed. I need someone with the ability to design a program that may be quite a project. As Gurugeek stated people need money but if I had that I would be like others with said; hiring some firm to do this.
But, I feel that if I could find some people who believed in my design and loved a challenge their share in this project would give them the desire to produce an end result of better quality.
My major problem with finding someone is disclosure. I am very limited on what I can disclose in order to protect my design as well as those who put their time into such. I dont trust very easy and cant expect any different. I can say Ive worked on this for some time and it will work and the ponpetial is great. So if your tired of trying to eak out a living think about this and contact me.

By saying it like you suggested, the only thing you'll be bringing into the project is this "killer idea," but yet you still retain absolute control over it all.

I'd be feeling a bit dubious about all of this from the start. I don't even have a clue where you intend to take this project. All I can guess is that you want to start something to either rival, or help others compete with stock markets.

As for security, it's all as secure as the weakest link. For example, a simple login + password for a website could just require one database table with the fields: username, session, session_touch, salt, password_hash. In a worst case scenario, if the database was stolen somehow. Your users password's are secure (password's never being stored as plaintext). I don't think your application would be truly as secure as etrade if you don't fully understand why these sorts of things have to be implemented.

Sorry but you cannot have any confidentiality on this because..you don't pay. There are many people willing to put their time for something valuable but that would be open source. If is not, you won't find anyone willing to take the challenge, keep it confidential and make you rich :face-devil-grin:

gurugeek as for open source Im sure good things toward verious programs come from it as Im sure it has its place. If I understand open source it is where different people can create off of the others work or programs if you will, whereby constant ideas are exchanged to work toward a free internet somewhat.
However should you desire to contribute to open source that would be your choice to give your time and whatever else involved that was yours to give. Confidentiality would be between myself and whom ever else agreed to it. Your statement sounds somewhat socialistic if not worse. However you may not be from America and Im all for you being from whereever your from but Im from America and even though its becoming more and more socialistic I feer, I still believein true freeedom not whatever you say unless it has me merit and is sound. If I can’t take your wording literally (but philosophically?) then please take the time to word your text better.

the thing about a faggot is that most dont know their purpose.
